This banjo features an African mahogany neck, Pegheds brand geared tuners, a white birch three raindrop inlay (done by hand), handmade tacks and a goatskin head. I personally grew the gourd here on our farm in Fairhope, AL. This is a more compact banjo and has a punchier sound when compared to the big, deep gourds. It's a lot of fun to play! The scale length in the pictures is approximately 23.5" and the overall length of the banjo is 36".
